Every day, volunteers improve the lives of our neighbors and friends facing homelessness. Whether making a meal, teaching, running the front desk or using your professional skills to further our mission, we need you.

Opportunities are available at our Lincoln Park and Old Town locations, off-site in our Street Outreach program and virtually. We work with individuals, friends, families, social, faith-based and corporate groups. We have a variety of schedules and openings.

Sign up to cook a meal for LPCS Guests!
Cook onsite, prepare and drop off, or donate a meal.
Sign up to cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner for all of our guests at either 1521 N Sedgwick or 600 W Fullerton by yourself or you can bring a team of up to 6! LPCS provides the pots and pans, you provide the food to make, prepare and serve.

Support our Drop-In Team!
Provide and serve a meal during our Drop-In Program.
Our Drop-In Program runs weekdays from 1-4 P.M. and serves our neighbors experiencing street-based homelessness by providing a meal, case management, access to laundry and showers, and more. You can support the team by providing and serving a meal and assisting with any other tasks needed during the program.

Your first shift will be shadowing the program to learn how it works. ​

Help us at our front desks!
Greet visitors and Guests, manage the phones and help with office projects.
Support our housing staff by working a volunteer front desk shift at our Fullerton or Sedgwick location. This is a high need opportunity, with flexible scheduling to accommodate varying schedules. To sign up for a front desk shift, please visit our Galaxy Digital volunteer website.
Teach a class!
Support Guests one-on-one or in a group.
Help Guests become self-sufficient by signing up to teach a class! Meet one-on-one or in a group onsite at one of our facilities. LPCS will provide a curriculum to follow, and we encourage volunteers to add in their own expertise. Class topics are Anger Management, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Decision-Making, Diversity, Financial Management, Goal Setting, Healthy Relationships, Housing, Stress Management, and Time Management.
