The COO is a senior leader of LPCS, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization including two facility locations, approximately 40 staff members, and departments that Interim Housing, Street Outreach, Drop-In Services, Permanent Supportive Housing, Development, Human Resources, Facilities, and Finance. This role monitors and manages the effectiveness and efficiency of all programs and departments across both sites, translating the strategic vision of leadership into actionable plans, fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring operational excellence and compliance. The COO serves as a key internal leader, allowing the CEO to focus on external relations, fundraising, and long-term strategy.

The Program Director is a pivotal leader within the organization, ensuring that programs reach their full potential. This role focuses on creating a stable, safe, and positive community for clients in our Interim Housing Program, Independent Community Living Program, Drop-in Program and Street Outreach Program. The Program Director oversees program development, staff leadership, and partnership cultivation while driving the design, funding, implementation, and evaluation of all programs.

In order for LPCS programs to reach their maximum potential, Guests need a stable, safe, healthy, and positive place in which to make life changes. The Interim Housing Coordinators are responsible for creating and ensuring a safe, healthy, and respectful community for Guests. Guests will become more invested in their own life changes when they feel connected to something larger than themselves – a community. They will see how their actions affect the community, and how they can learn and benefit from others in the community. Creating this sense of community will result in greater social skills and more positive decision-making abilities, which in turn will lead to more lasting life changes.

The Interim Housing Coordinator (Part-Time) plays a key role in supporting the Drop-in program at Lincoln Park Community Services (LPCS), ensuring that guests have a stable and safe environment to promote positive life changes. Reporting to the Director of Programs, this position facilitates daily operations, enforces rules with empathy, and manages activities like meals, laundry, and guest check-ins. The role focuses on fostering a sense of community, which is essential for empowering guests to make lasting improvements in their lives. This is a 25-hour-per-week, on-site position.
