DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT (Click here for job description)

The Director of Development is primarily responsible for executing and overseeing all fundraising and marketing initiatives for the agency. They will manage fundraising efforts that involve funding diversification through foundations, corporations and individuals and management of small and large-scale special events; grant writing, and donor relations including prospect identification, cultivation, pipeline development, appeals, stewardship, acknowledgement, and tracking. Further, this role will support branding efforts and oversee agency communications. This position works directly with the CEO and plays a vital role in the LPCS senior management team to advance the organization and secure the resources needed to make LPCS successful and sustainable.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR (Click here for job description)

In order for LPCS programs to reach their maximum potential, guests need a stable, safe, healthy, positive place in which to make life changes. The Program Director is responsible for creating and ensuring a safe, healthy, and respectful community for Interim Housing guests, community clients, and permanent supportive housing clients by developing innovative programs and providing leadership to staff. The Program Director works closely with program staff and the CEO to design, fund, implement, and evaluate all programs.

CASE MANAGER (Click here for job description)

For LPCS clients to reach their maximum potential, each needs a stable, safe, healthy, positive place in which to make life changes. The Case Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and respectful relationship with Guests and Graduates of the interim housing facility and clients of LPCS living elsewhere in the community. Clients will become more invested in their own life changes when they feel connected to something larger than themselves – a community.  The Case Manager encourages clients to engage in LPCS’ community and in their immediate community. Through this relationship, the Case Manager connects clients to other social service agencies, resulting in greater social skills and more positive decision-making abilities.

INTERIM HOUSING COORDINATOR (Click here for job description)

In order for LPCS programs to reach their maximum potential, Guests need a stable, safe, healthy, and positive place in which to make life changes. The Interim Housing Coordinators are responsible for creating and ensuring a safe, healthy, and respectful community for Guests. Guests will become more invested in their own life changes when they feel connected to something larger than themselves – a community. They will see how their actions affect the community, and how they can learn and benefit from others in the community. Creating this sense of community will result in greater social skills and more positive decision-making abilities, which in turn will lead to more lasting life changes.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Reporting to, and working closely with, the Executive Director/CEO, the Assistant Director will have supervisory responsibilities, as well as additional administrative responsibilities, throughout all shelter programs and locations. This position will provide oversight and direction to daily operations and administrative responsibilities and will take a lead role in implementing new initiatives, shepherding the professional development of staff with human resources, and ensure policies and procedures are being followed. The Assistant Director must be highly organized, a proactive problem solver, and a demonstrated leader, and will play a key role in building an energized culture and leading a team that successfully achieves meaningful results for the guests we serve. This position typically works Monday through Friday but will occasionally work Saturday and/or Sunday depending on organizational needs.

DIRECTOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

The Director of Finance & Administration, reports to the CEO and will lead and oversee the financial activities of the organization and provide oversight to administrative functions in operations & facilities, human resources, and IT. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, treasury management, cash forecasting, and fiscal management of public and private contracts in accordance with all agency, public and private funder requirements. Additionally, the Director of Finance provides oversight of the Operations Manager covering employee benefit administration, IT services, facilities and other administrative duties as assigned. Additionally, the Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining and adhering to all Lincoln Park Community Services (LPCS) policies and for staffing the Board of Director’s Finance Committee. The Director of Finance works closely with the CEO on all aspects of compliance with LPCS, state and city financing/grant funding, and provides proactive analysis of organization financials and budget planning and forecasts predicting future opportunities for growth on an ongoing basis.
